3 PERILLA-BOTÓNDESUJECIÓNDEARTICULACIÓN

OPERACIÓN DE LA ARTICULACIÓN

Por seguridad, siga estas instrucciones para la articulación con perilla-botón:

La sección interior de las escaleras permite

doblarlaescaleraen3posicionesestablecidas;

escaleradeextensión,escaleratipotijeradoble

y modo de almacenamiento. Cada una de estas

conguracionesesposibleutilizandolaperilla-

botóndesujecióndearticulaciónubicadaen

cada lado de la escalera.

Paraajustarelángulodelaescalera:

 1)Conlasarticulacionescentralesenla

posicióncerrada(VéaselaFigura1),pre-

sionelasperillas-botónconlapalmadesu

mano directamente en el centro de la escal-

era,éstasquedaránenlaposiciónabierta.

 2)Enlaposiciónabierta(VéaselaFigura2),

puedeajustarseelángulodelaescalera.

Nota:Laposiciónabiertapuedevericarsemedi-

antelostrespostesinterioresexpuestosenla

perilla-botón(VéaselaFigura2).

 3)Cuandolaescaleraalcanzacualquieradelas3posiciones

establecidas,lasperillas-botónregresaránautomáticamentepor

resorte a la posición cerrada.

 4)Paracerrarlaescaleraalaposiciónplegada,repitalospasos

1-3.

Nota:Lapresiónexcesivaenlaarticulacióncentraldicultarála

operacióndelaperilla-botón.Noutiliceningunaherramientapara

apalancaromanipularlaarticulacióny/olaperilla-botón.Silaperilla-

botónesdifícildeoperar,simplementemuevaunadelassecciones

depatahaciaadentrooafueraparadesatarelsujetador.

 • SilasarticulaciónesdesoporteNOESTÁNASEGURADAS

cuandolaescaleraestáenuso,podríaresultarenlesiónes

gravesolamuerte.

 • Antesdeutilizarlaescalera,veriqueCADAVEZquelas

articulaciónes de soporte están ASEGURADAS.

3 PUSH KNOB LOCKING HINGE

HINGE OPERATION

For safety, follow these push knob hinge instructions:

Theladdersinnersectionallowstheladder

tobefoldedinto3setpositions;extension

ladder,twinstepladder,andstorage.Each

ofthesecongurationsismadepossibleby

usingthepushknoblockinghingelocated

oneachsideoftheladder.

Toadjusttheangleoftheladder:

 1)Withthecenterhingesintheclosed

  position(SeeFigure1)pushthepush

  knobswiththepalmofyourhand

  directlyintothecenteroftheladder,

  theywillstayintheopenposition.

 2)Intheopenposition(SeeFigure2)

  theladderanglecanbeadjusted.

Note:Theopenpositioncanbeveried

bytheexposedtripleinnerpostsonthe

pushknob(SeeFigure2).

 3)Whentheladderreachesanyofthe3setpositions

  thepushknobswillautomaticallyspringbackintothe

closed position.

 4)Tocloseladdertothefoldedpositionrepeatsteps1-3.

Note:Excesspressureonthecenterhingewillmakethe

pushknobdifficulttooperate.DoNotUseanytoolstopryor

manipulatethehingeandorthepushknob.Ifthepushknob

isdifficulttousesimplymoveoneofthelegsectionsinorout

tounbindthelock.

 • Seriousinjuryordeathcouldresultifsupportinghinges

  areNOTLOCKEDwhenladderisinuse.

 • MakecertainsupportinghingesareLOCKEDbefore

using ladder EACH TIME.
